Women are very excited about this new skill training program. They are learning quickly and showing great interest in the classes. Many women have already started making beautiful hairbands on their own.
They tried their handmade hairbands within their groups and with their family members, and the response was very encouraging. This has boosted their confidence and motivated them to continue learning and improving their skills.
The program is not only teaching a creative skill but also building confidence and opening small income opportunities for women.
Rural village women’s empowerment : Under this program we are equipping the village women through Skill development, Self-Help Groups, Education, Healthcare awareness, Sewing centre.
Recently our team conducted a health awareness programme at Siya Mountain Village. The programme received full support from the village headwoman and local ANM. Our team actively worked to bring all the village women together and provided them with comprehensive self-hygiene education. They also received valuable suggestions from the ANM and the Society Women Empowerment team’s leader Mrs. Nasreen.
Sewing Center
This programme aims to train village women in sewing. In this area, the initiative has been successful and now they are learning to make bags which they can sell in their local market to generate income for themselves. This programme also aims to make their village plastic-free and provide a sustainable source of income.
